Week 3

We made it to Bandon, Oregon, and the sunset was incredible! The week was filled with lots of cycling, hiking, and meeting new friends.

The Pacific Coast route through Oregon was breathtaking with amazing views at Cape Foulweather, Devil’s Punch Bowl, Thor’s Well, and the Yaquina State Park & Lighthouse, to name a few.

AJ continues to cycle solo with strength and determination. He has inspired so many folks along the route. Some days he pedaled more than 50 miles on flat, lonely roads, and then experienced exhilarating down hills (max. speed of 55 mph) on others. Crazy! He crushed over 280 miles in the last week.

AJ, just remember what our friends T.J. & Sally said,

“Wonder where AJ and mom are today… and [don’t forget to] Listen to your mom.”

We appreciate your prayers for strength and safety as we continue down the coast on our way to California. If you would like to donate a meal or a night of lodging, visit our GoFundMe page. And we love hearing from you so give us a shout on our Instagram page (@cycleforthefuture)!
