Are you nervous about your plan?
Are you nervous?
Does it worry you that you are riding that far?
No. No. No. No!
No, we are not nervous anymore; we’re prepared and ready to roll. Excited. Nerves were a long time ago – like when we quit our jobs. Or when we decided to turn this idea of riding our bikes for charity into a reality. For almost an entire year, our minds have been consumed with everything from routes, to plans, to training strategies, to every single detail revolving surrounding this mission. So yes, we were nervous, but now are prepared. From now until the beginning of June, it’s just a waiting game. Waiting to execute.
For the next two weeks, our main focus will be on raising as much money as we possibly can for Touch A Life. Our goal is $20,000, and while we are well on our way, we still have a ways to go. We have 2 weeks and then almost 1,800 miles to hit our goal, and we are confident that we can do so. So, thank you to all who have donated thus far, and thank you to those who will donate in the future… it’s going to be a wild ride.
